Vacation Part 1- Friends

Over the last week we have been taking Gus on a tour of Texas! We had a lot of family and friends that we needed to see, so we packed up our car to head on our over 1700 mile trek. ( yes, we drove that far just in Texas, it is an amazingly large state) I just looked it up on a map, and with all the miles we have covered, we could have driven to Canada! I am going to write about all the people we visited. We drove first to my parents house. They kept our dogs for us while we traveled. On the second day of our trip, we did some shopping and visited our friends Adam, Kasie, and Cale. Cale is 6 days younger than Gus, so we were excited for them to play together. They had fun also had a bath together. Here are some pictures:

The next day we got back in the car. We made a stop at a big outlet mall. Since we live out in the middle of no where, we have to shop when we can! We found lots of things we needed. Then we headed to see Tim, Randi, and Robby! The last time I saw Randi was at the hospital when I had Gus. She was moving and we were both very sad. We stood crying the hallway and promised to stay close. Since then we have texted almost everyday, but we were very excited to see each other! We enjoyed being pregnant together and had our boys 7 weeks apart. The boys enjoyed playing, and then we went out to dinner.

We had such a wonderful time catching up, and I hope it isn't too long until we can get together again!
