We have been married for 6 months this week, and so much has changed in our lives!
At the end of May we moved to Muleshoe, TX. It is about an hour and a half southwest of Amarillo. Back in March we interviewed with United about Muleshoe. The store needed a new PIC (pharmacist in charge) and also had an opening for a part time position. The hours were just what we wanted, so it seemed like a perfect fit. In April I started driving down to Muleshoe four days a week. I was so happy when we finally moved and my commute changed from 3 hrs a day to 6 minutes. Buying our house was a whole other story, but we are really enjoying it now.
Josh was licensed at the end of June and has enjoyed being able to work and not be stuck at home all day. We have both been working full time since he was licensed and will continue that at least into August. Then I will start working part time. I cannot wait until then, when I will have time to do what I love- take care of our house and dogs and cook!!! Josh is also looking forward to me working part time so there will always be lunch and dinner ready for him when he gets home.
When we aren't at work, we have been enjoying our lovely yard. It is almost like a garden in the middle of the desert, with lush grass and lots of trees and flowers. The dogs are in heaven. They love to run outside and chase all the birds. It is very relaxing to just sit on our porch in the evenings.
Work and taking care of our house take up most of our time. We feel very blessed.
