A Happy 4th

We had a very busy 4th of July around our house! 

The day began with a parade downtown. This is a quick picture before we left the house.

Gus loved watching the parade from his stroller.

Then my grandparents arrived to have lunch with us. We played outside a little after lunch.

Next we attempted to get some family pictures.....

In the evening we went to a cookout with some friends at the park. Gus enjoyed playing.

And there were lots of other kids there too!

We soon headed home, after Gus had tried his first rice krispie treat!

We were all worn out! It was a good day :)

Here is Gus last year on the 4th, and then this year in the same spot. So grown up!

I think each holiday just keeps getting more fun with Gus. I love making memories as a family :)
