When I'm about to lose it...

Yesterday was just one of those days. The kids weren't listening or cooperating, my patience was short, and we were all getting very frustrated with each other. I'm sure you other moms have had those moments when you feel like you just cannot tell your child the same thing one more time.

So you ask how it is going with 3!?! It's good, but it's hard. Having a baby is not the hardest part either. A baby you can just put down if you need to, and they don't get into trouble....

Life just keeps racing and crawling by each day. The kids are growing and learning so much. And at the same time- some days we are all just watching the clock until Daddy gets home!

I do feel like some things have been easier with Jack since he's the 3rd. I'm more relaxed. I've had to split my time before (of course there was less splitting before :)) Maddie is younger than Gus was when I had her, so that is more challenging.

The most important thing I'm always reminding myself is just to take a moment at a time. I'll feel like everything is under control, then in a matter of seconds, things are chaos!

Over the last few weeks I've read several blogs and articles that I think can really speak to moms, and so I wanted to share them here for you.

Updates on my babies- Jack is 6 weeks old- when did that happen!?!? How is he big enough for the Bumbo??
Maddie is starting to love books:
I got all my babies in one picture!
My boys are already buddies:

A moment when I reminded myself- Let them get dirty :)

  1. Oh, it is so natural to feel overwhelmed, aggravated and frustrated at times when we are in the "thick" of motherhood. I think you are doing a grand job and it looks like your children are happy children. I know it is hard, hard work and I pray the Lord's blessings upon you as you "journey on."
